TATUM RODGERS - Jazz Tatum trained classically at Ballet Arkansas under artistic director Lorraine Cranford. Ballroom, Folkloric and Musical Theatre. She was privileged to study under Richard Steinhart, Christine, Duhon, Melinda Sheldahl, C, Michael Tidwell, Keith Duncan, Ballet Dallas and William Martin Viscount. She has perfumed several classics including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Cinderella. Other performances include The Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, and the 1992 Presidential Inauguration Gala of William Jefferson Clinton. Mrs. Rodgers is a former company member of Ballet Arkansas and Dallas Black Dance Theater II. At Dallas Black Dance Theater Mrs. Rodgers was Associate Artistic Director of DBDTII, and Director of the Junior Performing Company of Dallas Black Dance Theater Academy. Mrs. Rodgers has many other credentials and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in marketing from Tuskegee University. She is married to the Reverend Dwight Rodgers. They have two children, Naomi and Dwight II. | |
